Project Purchaser

Dynamite Recruitment is working in partnership with a specialist organisation who because of success are growing the business. In this role you will be responsible for a team of purchasers, ensuring they achieve agreed targets.

As a Project Purchaser, you will be responsible for

:

  • Responsible for the Procurement team and dealing with day-to-day issues.
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
  • Negotiate and review payment terms.
  • Complete audits and follow up the audit action plan.
  • Identify suitable suppliers for projects.
  • Create, negotiate and maintain supplier contracts.
  • Collate and analyse data on supplier performance.
  • Liaise with vendors and provide information obtained to the purchaser and other stakeholders.

The ideal Project Purchaser will have:

  • Proficiency in using SAP MRP software.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years experience in Procurement, with at least 3 years in project procurement.
  • Procurement experience within manufacturing/engineering.
  • Will be able to multitask, be adaptable to change.
  • Will have good analytical, problem solving and planning skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
