Sustainable Allocations and Lettings Officer
Contract type: 4 weeks – possibility of extension
Hours: 37.5 hrs
Location: Redditch (hybrid)
Venn Group are seeking an experienced Sustainable Allocations and Lettings !
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Deliver superior quality Allocations & Lettings Services that are customer centric and have high regard for equality, diversity, understanding and respect for people and their individual circumstances
- Actively collaborate with the voids and tenancy and neighbourhood team, ensure the strict timescales for letting properties are maintained
- Ensure nominations agreements are properly fulfilled and completed promptly
- Be responsible for allocating void properties in strict accordance with the Councils Allocation Policy
- Working closely with the Tenancy Ready Officers and Neighbourhood and Tenancy team to ensure they all have the correct and accurate information
The successful candidate will have:
- To have or be willing to work towards CIH Professional qualification Level 3 or other relevant qualification
- Good general knowledge of legislation, regulation, and policy in relation to the provision of generic housing services
- Experience of dealing with and managing vulnerable and demanding applicants regarding housing, in contentious, highly charged and emotive situations
- Experience of using Choice Based Lettings and Housing Management systems
