Are you a dedicated and experienced teacher with a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? We have an exciting opportunity for you to make a difference in the lives of children in the Epping, Harlow, Loughton, and Chigwell areas.
Role Overview:
- Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience working with SEND students.
- Responsibilities: Working in 3-hour blocks providing 1:1 support to students who struggle to access the full curriculum in a traditional classroom setting.
- Location: Support sessions take place in the homes or neutral settings such as community libraries.
- Duration: Blocks with students can vary from 4 weeks to termly, depending on the complexity of needs.
- Commitment: Ability to adhere to provided timetables to ensure consistency for the students.
- Workload: Students work no more than 15 hours per week.
- Subjects: Opportunities available for both Primary and Secondary teachers with core subject specialisms.
- Communication: Excellent communication strategies with students and the organization are essential.
