We are seeking a Payables and Receivables Accounts Clerk in the retail industry, close to Dagenham. This individual will lead the Accounting & Finance team on a temporary basis, focusing on handling both payables and receivables.

Description

  • Manage the processing of all accounts payable and receivable transactions
  • Ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices
  • Handle invoice and expense report discrepancies
  • Prepare and submit regular financial reports
  • Monitor and reconcile various accounts regularly
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
  • Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures

Profile

A successful Payables and Receivables Accounts Clerk should have:

  • An educational background in Accounting or a related field
  • Prior experience in a similar role within the retail industry
  • Sound knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processes
  • Proficiency in accounting software
  • Strong leadership skills
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
