We are seeking a Payables and Receivables Accounts Clerk in the retail industry, close to Dagenham. This individual will lead the Accounting & Finance team on a temporary basis, focusing on handling both payables and receivables.

Description
- Manage the processing of all accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices
- Handle invoice and expense report discrepancies
- Prepare and submit regular financial reports
- Monitor and reconcile various accounts regularly
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures
Profile
A successful Payables and Receivables Accounts Clerk should have:
- An educational background in Accounting or a related field
- Prior experience in a similar role within the retail industry
- Sound knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processes
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Strong leadership skills
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
