Accounts Assistant
Full-time - Permanent
Port Talbot
£25,000 per annum (with opportunity to increase plus study support)
Exciting and challenging new role in a multinational business! As a key member of the finance team, your prime responsibility will be to contribute to the finance and customer service functions as well as pitching in with adhoc office duties!Your new role will consist of the following;
- Accounts payable invoice processing.
- Supplier statement reconciliations.
- Assist with debt recovery; contacting customers for overdue payments
- Escalating aged debt issues
- Managing petty cash and staff expenses
- Matching purchase orders
- Assisting with general administration and office duties
This role would be great for an AAT student and support would be given following successful completion of probation...... but experience is key and, as such, QBE candidates: your skills would be highly in demand and would make you eligible for this position! This role has a lot of potential for progression and development; £25K is the starting salary and there may be a little bit of room for negotiation. Work ethic, enthusiasm, attention to detail and initiative are essential. Although the role is 100% office based, there may be scope for the occasional day of homeworking in exceptional circumstances.
