Reed Education North Wales is currently recruiting for a full-time Chemistry Teacher to work at a secondary school in Flintshire, starting in January 2025. This role will involve teaching Chemistry to A-Level students and is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator who is committed to providing a high-quality learning experience.
Location: Flintshire, North Wales
Contract: Full-time, Temporary (Supply Role)
Start Date: January 2025
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and inspiring Chemistry lessons to A-Level students.
- Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to both students and parents.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Chemistry education and incorporate innovative teaching techniques.
- Create a safe and supportive learning environment that fosters creativity, collaboration, and self-expression.
- Contribute to the wider Science department and school community, supporting student development beyond the classroom.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching Chemistry at A-Level, with a passion for the subject.
- Enhanced DBS (can be processed through Reed).
- EWC membership.
- Right to work in the UK.
