Our Client
Our client is a commercially minded conservation charity based in London. The finance team have an excellent reputation across the business, so we are looking for a candidate a candidate with excellent technical skills and great attention to detail.
The Role
- Leading on charity VAT and Gift Aid, including correct application of regulations, monitoring returns and ad hoc analysis / modelling of impact
- Supporting the monthly management account process through the ownership of key balance sheet reconciliations and posting of journals
- Supporting the preparation of the annual statutory and the annual audit through to final sign off the Annual Report and Financial Statements
- Updating financial policies and guidelines as required
The Successful Candidate
- Full or part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, ICAEW, CIPFA, ICAS etc)
- Experience of balance sheet reconciliation
- Experience of Charity VAT or Tax
