My client is a global manufacturing business. They are looking for an experienced and passionate Operations Manager to join their Torbay based team.
As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for delivering against customer requirements while driving improvement and overseeing the areas of safety, quality, cost, delivery and people.
As well as overseeing the Value Stream map, you will be tasked with leading and mentoring other team members, maintaining health and safety standards, managing cost aspects, ensuring effective resource planning and driving Continuous Improvement techniques at all times.
As an Operations Manager, you will have:
- Experience as an Operations Manager within a manufacturing environment
- A proven track record of Continuous Improvement and Lean techniques
- Experience of leading and mentoring others
- Experience of working within cross-functional teams / environments
- A relevant manufacturing / engineering qualification or degree
As an Operations Manager, you must have strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail and a passion for leading and mentoring others.
