Business Analyst - £60K-£65K – Remote First Organisation – 12 Month FTC
Overview:
An excellent opportunity has arisen with an exciting SaaS company within the life science sector for an experienced Business Analyst to work on a variety of technical and business change projects.
The successful candidate will join a small team of Business Analysts in the identification, capture and prioritisation of requirements. Acting as a primary liaison between Stakeholders, Technology and the business, whilst ensuring platform and regulatory requirements are understood, captured, and documented in a manner facilitating development and validation.?
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Identify, capture, and prioritise requirements for the Saas application as directed by the Product Owner
- Lead workshops, requirements gathering sessions
- Maintain and evolve requirements documents, business process diagrams, state diagrams, wire frames and entity models as needed
- Formulate and review Epics and User Stories as needed and in collaboration with third-party suppliers and contractors. Ensure Requirements, Epics and User Stories are testable and facilitate fast cycle times from definition to deployment
- Ensure that documentation and working practices satisfy regulatory requirements
- Participate in ceremonies, stand-ups, playbacks, and other meetings as foreseen by the software delivery approach
- Manage internal & external stakeholder relationships and report to stakeholders on technology investments
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Experience of working as a Business Analyst, identifying and capturing requirements for systems supporting complex, safety critical, business processes, preferably within healthcare or pharma
- Good technical understanding of Business Analysis frameworks, business processes design and modelling, business rules and state diagrams, wire frames, entity modelling, business requirements and UAT methodologies
- Significant experience working with agile, scrum or lean, iterative methodologies, formulating epics and user stories and maintaining a product backlog
- Experience in maintaining requirements and documentation in a continuous deployment setting, enhancing a platform over multiple release
- Significant experience working with third-party and geographically distributed development teams
Package:
- Up to £65,500 basic salary
- Hybrid - (1X per month in the London office)
