**Overview: I am seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Management Accountant who is either part-qualified or at finalist level in their accounting qualifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in management accounting, coupled with a solid understanding of tax regulations and compliance. Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and reporting.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accurate and timely data is provided.
- Monitor and report on financial performance against budgets, providing insights and recommendations.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and internal reports for senior management.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Prepare and file VAT returns, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of corporate tax returns and liaise with external tax advisors as needed.
- Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making, including cost analysis, margin analysis, and profitability assessments.
- Assist in cash flow forecasting and working capital management.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Part-qualified or finalist level in ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent accounting qualification.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a management accounting role.
- Experience with tax compliance, including VAT and corporate tax.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
