Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced Approved Mental Health Practitioner (AMHP) to work within Haringey Council.
Job Purpose
- The AMHP as required by the Mental Health Act is based at the centralised Duty Hub at St Ann's Hospital, carrying out mental health act assessments as part of a duty rota.
- To liase with GP's and other key partner agencies to develop and maintain multi-disciplinary and inter-agency working.
- To provide a high quality comprehensive assessment for Service users, involving as appropriate the views and input from nearest relatives, carers, service providers and partner agencies
- To work closely with the Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team, where appropriate carry out joint assessments and consider admission to hospital either formally or informally, or refer/signpost to alternative least restrictive alternatives to admission
You must be trained and currently approved as an AMHP.
You will need to be:
- SWE registered
- Eligible to work in the UK
