Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 per annum + Eligibility for a bonus after the probationary period
Type: Full-Time, Fully Office-Based
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage detailed cost estimates, budgets, and schedules for steel fabrication projects.
- Conduct cost analysis and performance reporting for ongoing projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure accurate cost forecasting and budget management.
- Evaluate and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Monitor and control project expenditures to ensure alignment with budget estimates.
- Provide regular financial progress reports and advice on cost-saving initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction, marine, or engineering sectors, with a focus on steel fabrication projects.
- Strong analytical and financial management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in relevant software and quantity surveying tools.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
