We are seeking a dedicated Caretaker to join our client in Wrexham. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, maintenance, and security of our facilities. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities for Caretaker:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks to maintain the cleanliness of the premises, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Conduct basic maintenance tasks such as light bulb replacements, minor repairs, and furniture assembly.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and address any issues that arise.
- Carry out security checks and ensure that all doors and windows are securely locked.
- Assist with setting up and dismantling equipment for events or meetings.
- Report any maintenance or security concerns to the Facilities Manager.
Requirements for the role:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving heavy objects.
