Underwriter
Hybrid - Cirencester
Salary - Up to £52,000
I am looking for an Underwriter with experience in Income Protection. You will manage a caseload of applications and amendments, making decisions on terms based on risk factors in a professional and timely manner. Handle Change of Occupation notifications, Reviewable Exclusions, and Claims Misrepresentation cases.
Respond to ad hoc pre-application telephone and email inquiries. Make decisions on cases requiring referral to the Senior Underwriter, Chief Underwriter, or Chief Medical Officer, ensuring speedy resolution of queries.
Skills and Experience
- Income Protection Underwriting Experience
- Experience in dealing with Financial advisers
- Worked successfully within a team
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels of society
- ACII qualification (or studying towards) (Desirable)
- Ability to manage workload across multiple activities
