Rate: £50.96 p/h PAYE (Approx. £105.9K Per annum)

Hours: 9am – 6pm

This client is a top 5 tech giant and one of the world's most popular search engines.
This is a hybrid role, so you will split your time between home office and the clients offices in central London. On-site you will be able to access their amazing facilities and quirky working spaces, as well as free breakfast/ lunch/ dinner, on-site gyms, outdoor spaces and roof gardens, wellness rooms and sleep pods.

Job description:

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Ability to approach businesses/technologies and adapt quickly to understand revenue drivers, KPIs, OKRs, pain points, and strategic initiatives.
  • Ability to garner consensus from internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership, surrounding new ideas and strategies, with an ability to gain commitment using data and appropriate communication or storytelling methods.
  • Understanding of the business M&A process, systems, and frameworks
  • Ability to conduct research of business needs and generate solutions to business problems
  • Understanding of the nuances involved in different deals (e.g., Talent, Tech & Talent, Product/Product line, Line of business/New PA)
  • Understanding of how the business and its functions define their strategies, or direction, and making decisions on allocating its resources to pursue this strategy
  • Ability to construct an integration plan that brings together the perspectives of many business teams including product, engineering, sales, marketing, finance, human resources, legal, REWS, and IT management to create a credible understanding of how expected deal value will be achieved.
  • Ability to initiate, plan, execute, control, and close the work of a team to achieve specific goals and meet specific success criteria
  • Understanding of the approaches needed to prepare and support individuals, teams, and organizations in making organizational change
  • Knowledge of the changing landscape of the industry, product areas, other key players and how the business is differentiated from them, and/or markets including technology trends and issues that affect the operations of one's business and organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Understanding of deal context, process, and impacts, leveraging outside/prior knowledge where applicable
  • Effectively communicate with a variety of audiences, including cross-functional integration teams, leaders, and executives, tailoring communication style and mode for audience. Ability to distill key information, articulate priorities, and answer questions
  • Identify and solve problems throughout the deal integration process, with a strong understanding of when to escalate issues
  • Serve as a mentor to team members, providing expertise and support where needed
  • Serve as a coach to PA and deal sponsor leaders through strong understanding of deal process and clear communication skills. Guide and influence sound decision-making
  • Understand the business' existing M&A processes and identify/drive process, system, and framework improvement
  • Lead teams of cross-functional leaders, with an emphasis on supporting the setting and execution of the integration strategy. Define and achieve OKRs tied to the deal model
  • Lead integration of acquisitions. Assist or lead divestitures, corporate re-orgs, and spin-outs.
