Deputy Manager - Children's residential home
Hours: 24h days – 2 days in, 4 days of
(Rolling rota) (£60 for sleep in)
As a Deputy Manager at a children's residential home, you will be responsible for supporting the overall management and operation of the home, ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children in care, supervising staff, maintaining compliance with regulations, and fostering a positive, nurturing environment
Working at a residential children's home.
- Support the registered manager in running the home.
- Ensure high standards for Ofsted's quality standards
- Responsible for leading the staff/allocating tasks.
- Ensure there is a high standard of care from all staff
- Ensure the quality of the children's development is met
- Sorting all paperwork/record keeping and operation procedures are met
- Domestic duties and overseeing maintenance of the home.
Qualifications and experience:
Level 5 NVQ working with children (Management) (Leve;4 with a willingness to work towards this)
Experience working with Ofsted
24 months experience managing a residential children's home.
