OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Account Handler to join our client's team. The role involves managing commercial accounts, ensuring client satisfaction, and contributing to the growth of their business. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of commercial insurance products, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage a portfolio of commercial accounts, serving as the main point of contact for clients
  • Understand clients' insurance needs and provide appropriate coverage solutions
  • Process policy changes, endorsements, and renewals in a timely and accurate manner
  • Collaborate with underwriters and other team members to ensure client satisfaction and account retention
  • Maintain accurate client records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries and resolving issues effectively
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and market conditions to provide informed guidance to clients
  • Contribute to the growth and profitability of the business through retention and cross-selling efforts

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in commercial account handling within the insurance industry
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverage options, and underwriting principles
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building and maintaining client relationships
  • Proficiency in using insurance brokerage systems and client management software
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and handle multiple priorities
  • Detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy and compliance
  • Relevant insurance qualifications or certifications are a plus
