Hexagon Group have a unique opportunity for a self-motivated, passionate Assistant Facilities Manager who is keen to secure a role within the facilities management sector and join a company that will look to progress you to a Regional Facilities Manager in the very near future. We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join a growing property advisory organisation, who prides themselves on the training and development that they provide to their employees; creating an environment where employees can fulfil their potential and a proven track record in promoting existing Assistant Facilities Managers within the business.

This is a fantastic opportunity for somebody who may be looking for their first role within the Facilities & Property Management sector, or someone who is seeking to transition from working for an FM service provider to working directly for a real estate company.

As the Assistant Facilities Manager, you will be supporting a team of Facilities Managers, along with having sole responsibility for a very small portfolio of your own.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Facilities Management team with the management of their properties.
  • Supervising on-site service partners, both hard & soft service partners
  • Liaising with occupiers and attending to their needs in a professional manner.
  • Issuing permits to work for contractors.
  • Ensure the PPM schedule requirements are undertaken.
  • Assisting the Facilities Manager's with the production of service charge budgets
  • Reporting on any health & safety issues on-site, and keeping on track of statutory compliance

This role will suit somebody from an administrative, or front of house background seeking their first steps into facilities management. You will have first hands experience working in a customer facing role and be passionate about the facilities management industry. If you have previous experience working within the property management industry and hold knowledge of health & safety this may put you at an advantage.
