Engage Education are currently working in partnership with a secondary school on an exciting new Teaching Assistant position, in Reading.

Starting in September, the school is looking for an outstanding male Teaching Assistant to work on a long term basis. If the role goes well there is the potential for this to turn into a permanent assignment.
Your Role:
- Supporting a child 1:1 in a secondary school with children in KS3 and KS4
- Working with other support staff to engage pupils in class
- Providing feedback to teachers and parents
What you will need:
- A range of behaviour management techniques
- To have worked with learners with a range of needs
- The ability to re-engage a young person in learning through a range of methods
- To be able to commit to working at the school for long period of time
- A resilient attitude
