Accounts Assistant - About The Role
In this role you will be working in a small finance team of 3 and reporting into the Finance Manager. You will be supporting with the daily running of the finance function and will also be required to cover for the Finance Manager when needed.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Responsible for all monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Posting of monthly journals for payroll
- Bank reconciliations and VAT returns
- Responsible for inter-company transactions and reconciliations
- Reconcile credit card transactions for all companies
- Providing cover to AP and AR functions when needed
- Assisting the Finance Manager during month and year end
The successful Accounts Assistant will have:
- Previous experience in a similar position
- Experience in using Xero would be advantageous
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to communicate at all levels
