Reed HR are currently working with a leading name in global end-to-end logistics who are seeking an experienced HR & Payroll Advisor to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will bring extensive HR experience and will provide critical support in delivering HR services and driving organisational change projects. This is a lively and fast-paced role that requires a high degree of autonomy and professionalism. Additionally, the role includes managing payroll administration and providing comprehensive HR support.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Administer payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.
  • Provide advice and support on HR policies and procedures to staff and management.
  • Assist with the recruitment process by coordinating job postings, reviewing resumes, and performing reference checks.
  • Maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements.
  • Handle employee queries regarding HR issues, benefits, and payroll.
  • Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.
  • Participate in HR projects, such as the collection of employee feedback and the review of HR policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an HR and Payroll Advisor or similar role.
  • Knowledge of HR functions (payroll & benefits, recruitment, training & development, etc.).
  • Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of HRIS is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong ethics and reliability.
  • HR credentials (e.g., CIPD qualified or equivalent) are preferred.
