This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of Hays' long-term clients based in Glasgow. This is a hybrid role with a requirement of working on-site 2 days per week, paying up to £55,000 per annum depending on your experience.
Your new role
As cyber security analyst, you will assist security operations for the safeguarding of the company's users, infrastructure and data. Day-to-day responsibilities will include monitoring networks, detecting security threats, assessing alarms and reporting incidents. You'll also oversee compliance, vulnerability management, incident response and maintain security standards in ine with GDPR and ISO 27001.
What you'll need to succeed
You must have:
- Experience as a SOC/Cyber Security Analyst.
- Working understanding of Cyber Essentials +, ISO 27001/ 22301 and M365/ Azure cloud environment.
- Experience in: network and application firewalls, host intrusion prevention, anti-virus, malware sandboxing reports, security tooling (Windows & Cloud environment), XDR, EDR, email & remote access security, cloud security (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS), anomaly detection, identity management, and Mitre ATT&CK and NIST frameworks.
