Trainee Data Centre Technician (Smart Hands)
- Location: Hendon NW9 (Must be within a 10 Mile radius of site)
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 8 am - 6pm
- Salary: Base plus Oncall Allowance + Company Benefits

Your new role (TRAINING PROVIDED)
We are seeking an ambitious individual that is keen to undertake a new career within technology.
The role of Data Centre Technician will see you providing customer support to our large and diverse client base ensuring service levels. You will have a supportive team to train you on the essentials to get you up to speed!
Some your responsibilities will include:
- Installation of server, network and storage hardware with associated cabling/patching
- Perform cabling/patching duties of both copper and fibre for a variety of different client requirements
- Decommission hardware and prepare for shipping whilst coordinating with third party couriers
- Perform audit work for clients cabling and hardware and produce supporting documentation
What you'll need to succeed
- Must meet SC and BPSS security clearance vetting and approval requirements
- Desire to work with your hands, with proven experience from DIY projects to actual work experience
- The ambition to work within a hands on fast paced environment
- Ability to work well under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail and being able to make informed decisions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Full UK Driving License and personal car is essential for this position
- Willingness to learn with friendly, professional, and flexible attitude
