Job Title: Credit Controller
Reporting To: Group Credit Manager
Location: Wilmslow/working from home
Salary £25,000 + bonus
Hours of Work: 37.5
12-months fixed-term contract
The Role
An opportunity has arisen for a Credit Controller to join our Credit Control team managing one of the Citation Group Company ledgers.
Key duties will include:
- Proactively managing & collecting debts from company debtors via telephone & email
- Ensuring timely payment of invoices
- Resolving customer queries with assistance from other departments
- Reconciling customer accounts
- Cash allocation
- Preparing & issuing customer statements detailing outstanding amount
- Weekly reporting/updates
The Person
- Knowledge and experience of credit control processes, procedures and reporting
- Transactional finance knowledge and understanding
- Experience of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Professional attitude and persona
- Positive outlook
- Strong work ethic
- Able to prioritise workload
- Ability to communicate with clients and staff at all levels
- Generate and maintain solid working relationships with customers and colleagues
