We are looking for a Business Programme Manager to successfully deliver the Learning and Competence Recovery programme. You will be leading on the programme with all overall report and governance, as well as managing individual projects within the programme. You will be integral to building out this programme and maintaining ownership and responsibility.

I help to keep people safe and warm by...

  • Successfully delivering the programme, producing and maintaining agreed governance procedures
  • Ensuring the success of programme initiatives by monitoring core objectives and KPIs, intervening where benefits are at risk
  • Developing and managing relationships with key stakeholders across the business and programme to ensure successful delivery
  • Delivering effective communication to all levels of the business, including timely reports to the Executive team
  • Managing the complex programme plan, identifying key milestones and critical path activities for reporting. Managing shifting priorities to meet business requirements
  • Facilitating workshops in line with individual projects and completing write ups of outputs

What you'll need

  • A PRINCE2 Practitioner with ITIL, MSP and/or other Project Management Certifications
  • You have proven success with leading projects and programmes on schedule and within budget
  • You have managed highly complex projects across different business areas / technology platforms
  • You are a proven leader and motivator, leading teams on projects of various sizes including mentoring and line management
  • You are a confident presenter and are able to express data and information clearly, concisely and adapt your technical and non-technical content to your audience
  • You have great interpersonal and communication skills
  • A keen problem solver who thinks outside the box for solutions
  • You are confident challenging and supporting your team where necessary and are driven to develop and motivate teams to deliver results
