Facilities Assistant - £13.74 per hour - London

One of the UKs largest charities is seeking an experienced Post Room & Facilities Assistant to support their Facilities Team at their London head offices.

This is a temporary role to start ASAP (dependant on checks) for an initial 3-6 month period and will pay £13.74 per hour.

The main duties of the Post Room & Facilities Assistant will include:

  • Provide and maintain logistical postal and courier services
  • Booking taxis
  • Provide and maintain all reprographics services (internal and external)
  • Provide and maintain all stationery services
  • Provide ad-hoc cover as required to other facilities related services and functions
  • Provide an excellent customer service experience by being empathic, organised, calm and resilient when dealing with all customer enquiries.
  • Support facilities manager with project works
  • Support building services by checking in contractors, meeting room set ups.
  • Spot check and validate invoice information upon management request.

The ideal Post Room & Facilities Assistant will have the following knowledge, skills and experience:

  • Previous experience of working in a similar facilities role.
  • Experience on running reprographic, postal and courier services.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise a range of conflicting tasks.
  • Ability to act professionally under provocation, exercise patience, courteousness, and flexibility and be sensitive to customers
  • Excellent time keeping and work attendance.
  • Excellent organisational skills and record keeping.
