A major Plastics company based in Tamworth are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join their successful team for a permanent opportunity on days!
Annual Salary:
£30,000 to £35,000 (DOE)
Weekly Hours:
Monday - Friday 07:30 – 16:00
Key Accountabilities:
- Ensure all Safety, Health, Environmental & Quality requirements are met and operations including training and non-training conform to legislative requirements.
- Developing and delivering planned maintenance plans to plant and equipment.
- Ensuring that all certificates of compliance are maintained and up to date in accordance with relevant legislation.
- Responsible for PPM
- Running an efficient repair reporting system.
- Purchasing and stock control of plant equipment spares and consumables
Key Experiences and Skills Required:
- Extensive knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical and HVAC
- Understanding of preventative maintenance systems
- Positive approach to the working environment.
Desirables Skills, Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- Excellent level of numeracy and literacy.
- Proficient use with IT systems
- Good / Strong communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Awareness of modern maintenance techniques.
- Strong team ethic with positive working attitudes
- Work to Performance Measures
