Join a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you'll be responsible for maintaining 16 Multispindle Lathe Machines and associated equipment operating 24/7!

Key duties include:

  • Utilising a range of tool room/workshop-based machinery.
  • Proficient in Lathe Machines, preferably Multispindle, with 5-10 years of experience in a production environment, ideally on a 24/7 or shift basis.
  • Demonstrating strong mechanical aptitude to diagnose machine wear and component quality faults.
  • Being disciplined, self-motivated, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
  • Providing support to the Lathe Area Department beyond regular working hours when necessary.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 standards and excellent communication skills to interact with personnel at all levels.

Training and Development:

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Assisting the Department Head in maintaining product output in the Lathe Area Department.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions.
  • Supporting Lathe Machine production to ensure continuous output.
  • Training new and existing staff.
  • Diagnosing and repairing Lathe Machines and associated equipment.
  • Using maintenance software for task management.
  • Providing assistance to colleagues and service engineers as needed.
  • Fulfilling any additional requirements associated with the Lathe Area Department.
