A leading organisation is seeking an organised and proactive Logistics Administrator to join its Supply Chain Team. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality textiles to contract customers. Working at the heart of a collaborative supply chain team, you will coordinate with colleagues, transport providers, and clients to uphold operational excellence. Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily logistics and delivery operations, including order processing, shipments, and returns.
  • Liaise with transport companies, couriers, and internal teams to schedule and track shipments, ensuring optimal timelines and minimal delays.
  • Manage logistics documentation, such as proof of delivery, customs paperwork, and shipping manifests.
  • Resolve delivery queries promptly, maintaining professional and clear communication with all stakeholders.
  • Assist with inventory control, stock accuracy, and warehouse coordination to support a smooth flow of goods from supplier to customer.
  • Support procurement and supply planning activities by tracking supplier deliveries and highlighting potential issues.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas to streamline supply chain and logistics processes.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse administration or coordination roles.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with transport providers, colleagues, and clients.
  • Confident using IT systems including ERP software, Microsoft Office, and email platforms.
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Team player with the ability to manage own workload effectively and responsibly.
  • Professional, dependable, and committed to delivering excellent service.
