School Receptionist Administrator required!
Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting an experienced School Administrator to join a special needs school in Birmingham. The school caters for deaf pupils aged between 11 and 19. The school are seeking to appoint a well-organised, reliable and enthusiastic person with proven experience in dealing with constantly changing priorities to join a very busy office team. The role is 32.5 hours per week to start from September.
We are seeking an individual who can:
- a working knowledge of SIMS (preferred)
- excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
- the ability to work under pressure
- excellent literacy, numeracy and ICT skills
- the ability to work both without supervision and as part of a busy team
Your duties will include:
- provide reception and telephone support to the school, delivering messages as appropriate
- receiving, signing in and dealing with or directing pupils, parents and other school visitors as appropriate
- receiving and sorting incoming mail and deliveries for delivery to appropriate staff
- use of the school MIS system to record learner details
