Sales Executive - eSIMs

Core is a leading supplier of PAYG SIMs, mobile top-up capabilities and mobile accessories into independent and national retail channels. We have enjoyed significant growth over recent years and have plans to continue driving the business forward both through the expansion of our sales channels and the introduction of new categories, products and services.

The transition from physical SIM cards to embedded eSIMs within mobile devices is driving a revolution in the mobile industry, with international travellers being the key early adopter market.

Core has developed its own eSIM product, Amigo, for the worldwide traveller market, and we are looking for a hands-on, highly motivated Sales Executive to join the team to open up new sales channels for Amigo across the global travel industry and drive sales.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct market research to identify potential clients and opportunities within the travel sector, including travel agencies, airlines, hotels, and tour operators.
  2. Reach out to prospective clients through cold calling, email outreach, and other means as required to introduce them to Core and Amigo.
  3. Develop and deliver sales presentations and proposals tailored to the needs and challenges of clients in the travel industry, highlighting the benefits of eSIM technology for travellers and Core's Amigo product specifically.
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target organisations.
  5. Assist in the negotiation of contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to secure sales.
  6. Prepare regular sales reports, updates, and forecasts to track progress against sales targets and goals.

Person Specification:

  1. Minimum 2 years' previous experience in researching and developing B2B sales leads and then generating sales is essential.
  2. Previous experience selling into the travel sector would be beneficial.
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
  4. Business acumen to ensure that new opportunities are commercially viable for Core.
  5. Proactive and self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed in a sales-driven environment.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent time management and organisational skills.
  7. Willingness to travel for client meetings, conferences, and trade shows.
  8. An enthusiastic user of mobile applications is desirable.

Salary Package:

In addition to the base salary range indicated a generous uncapped commission scheme will also be offered.

Work Location:

Core's office is based near Slough but we operate a hybrid working arrangement. For this role we envisage you will need to attend the office at least once a month however if you prefer to work permanently from the office you can do so. Applicants who have previous sales experience in the travel sector can work fully remotely if preferred.
