We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Credit Controller for our Accounting & Finance department. This role is integral to maintaining financial health and ensuring smooth operations within our retail business.

Description

  • Manage and maintain client accounts to ensure timely payments.
  • Resolve account discrepancies and invoice disputes.
  • Perform credit checks for new customers.
  • Coordinate with the sales team to set up payment plans.
  • Prepare and present reports on collection activities and progress.
  • Recommend bad debt write-offs and account adjustments.
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.
  • Contribute to the overall goals of the Accounting & Finance department.

Profile

A successful Credit Controller should have:

  • A strong understanding of accounting principles.
  • Experience of B2B credit control
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
