We are seeking a Science Teacher for a highly regarded secondary school in the Northampton area. This role is due to start from January 2025 on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated educator who is passionate about teaching science subjects including biology, chemistry, and physics.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver engaging and effective science lessons across various topics including biology, chemistry, and physics.
- Develop innovative lesson plans that cater to different learning styles and encourage critical thinking.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes collaboration and respect.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Bachelor's degree in Science Education or a related field.
- Strong understanding of the national curriculum and educational standards.
- Previous teaching experience is preferred, but not essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
