CREDIT CONTROLLER REQUIRED!!!

My client is seeking a Credit Controller for a 3-month temporary position.
This role is essential in maintaining the efficiency of their operations by managing receivables and ensuring that their commercial vehicles are swiftly back on the road. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated and skilled professional who is committed to service excellence.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Managing and collecting debts from company debtors
- Evaluating new credit requests and reviewing customers' credit rankings with banks
- Setting up the terms and conditions of the receivable and payable balances
- Dealing with internal queries about payments, ensuring customers pay on time and negotiating re-payment plans
- Assisting in the setting up of the credit control system
- Ensuring that all transactions are compliant with company's policies
- Handling disputed bills and negotiating to bring payment within the agreed terms
- Providing administrative support to the team
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Credit Controller
- Strong understanding of the full credit control process
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Good attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
