Grafton Banks Finance is recruiting a Financial Controller, (fully qualified accountant), for a £75m revenue construction business with offices near Bristol (2-3 days onsite and the rest remote per week). This is a varied opportunity and allows the successful candidate to be able to add commercial input as well as keeping control of the company finances.
Key areas of responsibility include:
Producing monthly board packs
Budgeting, forecasting, balance sheets, variance analysis
Cost management and reporting
Costing and analysis for tenders
Producing management information
VAT, CIS and Corp Tax
Working Capital management
Other project work - systems & process improvements
The business is growing rapidly and requires a hands on, yet commercial Financial Controller to work with the senior leadership team.
Previous experience of working within the construction sector is essential in order to apply. Candidates will also need to be either a Senior Finance Manager, Financial Controller or Finance Director already.
