Junior Enterprise IT Support Technician - London

Education: BSc in a STEM Subject & A-Level Mathematics
Onsite: 5x Per Week
Salary: £26,000

We are partnered with one of the UK's highest-rated and fastest-growing fintech businesses, dedicated to delivering technology products for the insurance industry.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first line of support for internal technical issues.
  • Use the company's help desk software to log and manage support calls.
  • Build and maintain a large fleet of laptops using technologies such as Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT).
  • Follow documented IT procedures to:
  • Onboard new joiners, ensuring automation processes are correct and making manual changes to Active Directory.
  • Maintain and support office IT infrastructure, including conference equipment, hot-desking equipment, and printers.
  • Perform manual tasks such as relocating IT equipment to new desks.

Experience Needed:

  • First-rate problem-solving ability
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Client-focused with the ability to build relationships with customers
  • Logical, well-organized, and practical
  • Confident and eager to learn
  • Computer literate (e.g., proficient in Word, Outlook, Excel) and able to quickly learn new concepts

Education:

  • A-levels or equivalent, ideally with studies in IT or a technology subject
  • Excellent GCSEs or equivalent qualifications, ideally including an A/9 in maths
  • Demonstrates a strong interest in technology
