As a Management Accountant, you will be involved with the production of management account packs for Senior Management, this also encompasses tasks such as posting journals, completing reconciliations and producing detailed reports and analysis. You will also be a key component of the budgeting and forecasting process, often being involved with budgetary and forecasting meetings with senior internal stakeholders.
Ideal Characteristics
- To have a strong ability on Microsoft Excel is key. This is a software that you will use on a daily basis, so it is paramount to be able to use tools such as Vlookups and Pivot Tables and to be confident when navigating large data sets.
- It is important to have prior experience with senior month end responsibilities such as being included with the budgeting and forecasting process, as this is an essential part of the position.
- To be ambitious and eager to take on new responsibilities. This position is one where you will be able to gain exposure to a variety of different tasks and duties.
- To either be currently studying for your ACCA or CIMA qualification, or to already have passed a number of your examinations in your chosen discipline.
