  • Location: HQ Blackburn / Franchisee Network stretches from Northeast to South Coast
  • Ideal location is North West to Midlands
  • Salary: Circa £45'000 base plus franchisee performance bonus

We are searching for a business professional with an interest and passion for early sports education, coupled with a strong commercial attribute to deliver franchisee development throughout the UK.

The Area Manager role supports a growth sports coaching business, who develop and deliver sport workshops for primary school curricular and extra-curricular development in primary education.

The traditional and non-traditional workshops are a fun and informative environment for children to develop. Currently they have a growing network of 20+ Franchisees, with the goal to further expand immediately.

Through demand we have created a brand-new role that will oversee the whole UK Franchise, existing and developing network. With high volume of franchisee enquires the brand is highly sort as it develops.

Area Manager – Sports Coaching Company - Role

  • You will be responsible for driving increased profitability and efficiency through the Franchise network.
  • Promote a positive culture ensuring the Franchisees deliver the business strategy of the brand.
  • Support, commercially lead and develop Franchisees.
  • Partner closely with franchisees to evaluate and support performance.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews.
  • Develop operational challenges whilst helping to identify market trends and competitor activity.

Area Manager – Sports Coaching Company – About you

  • You will have held a multi-site or Area Manager role within business and have a proven ability to lead, inspire teams and influence franchisees to deliver.
  • We are open to wide variety of experience (Retail/Hospitality/Education/Sales). However multi-site and team leadership is essential.
  • Exposure and understanding to drive sales and teams to deliver increased turnover and profitability.
  • P&L exposure.
  • You will have a confident, outgoing personality, feeling comfortable to influence business challenges and change.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Ambitious. Driven. Innovative.
  • An excellent communicator.
  • Be passionate about helping and developing young people.
  • Be motivated and have a positive, can-do mind set.
  • The ability to drive with own car.
