Pertemps are working in partnership with BOC, a leading provider of industrial, medical and special gases to provide a Sales and Service Operator / Driver for Class 2 Cryospeed (liquid gas) tanker work
- Based in Bristol, BS4
- £22.80 per hour PAYE
- £28.66 per hour nights
- Call out payment, Weekend allowance and Bank Holiday allowance on top of hourly rate
- You will be required to travel and work from other locations, which will include weekend travel and weeks away from home.
- 9 month FTC
About the role
- Organizing and scheduling daily cryogenic deliveries in compliance with applicable ADR and all relevant regulations and standards
- Managing assigned territories (Bristol, Cardiff, Plymouth), cover and achieve targeted sales is required
- The development of new business through contract negotiations and the identification of potential sales opportunities is part of your task
- You will conduct site inspections to ensure proper and safe operation of the equipment
- Identifying threats to existing business and assimilate other competitive information
- Ensuring maintenance work in cooperation with the responsible department
The right candidate
- Prior experience as a class 2 tanker driver
- UK Class C driver's license (LGV) held for at least three years, with no more than three penalty points and DCPC
- Qualified with ADR class 2 in tanks
- A self-motivated person with the ability to plan and manage customer deliveries and achieve agreed targets
- Good customer and inter-personal skills
