Parking Project Officer
Are you passionate about making a difference in your community? Our local authority client is looking for an enthusiastic Parking Project Officer to join their dedicated Environmental Services team. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of transforming the parking functions, managing a borough-wide compliance survey, and implementing an innovative notice processing system.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, ensuring the smooth execution of parking projects.
- Keep our Project Board and Programme Board informed with regular updates on project progress.
- Collaborate with various council departments, partners, and third parties to deliver impactful parking projects.
- Engage with key stakeholders, including elected members, senior managers, residents, and businesses, to ensure project success.
- Support additional projects focused on enhancing customer-facing services and council-wide initiatives.
What You Need:
- Over 5 years of experience in developing parking projects and programs.
- Proven expertise in project management, guiding initiatives from conception to completion.
- Outstanding communication, facilitation, and influencing skills to effectively engage stakeholders.
- Ability to adeptly manage key stakeholder expectations and foster collaborative relationships.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and external consultants.
