KS3 - KS4 Chemistry teacher - Bury - September start

Prospero Teaching is looking for an experienced science teacher who can teach key stage 3 & 4 Chemistry to join a popular secondary school in Bury. This position is for 2 terms, September until Easter 25. You will be responsible for teaching Chemistry across Years 7 to 11.

The position is open to NQTs/ECTs as well as more experienced teachers, however, this role may suit a teacher who has been teaching for several years. You will be paid to scale from day one of this assignment and we are available to discuss this role with teaching professionals as soon as possible.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

Science Graduate, preferably with a 2:2 or higher, preferably Chemistry
UK Qualified Teacher Status is essential for this role
Previous experience teaching in a UK school
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however, training can be provided)
Up to date Prevent Awareness & FGM training issued in the last 3 years (essential, however, training can be provided)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate that is registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide a minimum of two professional child related references covering the last 2 years
