Payroll Officer - remote working - 1 day a month in office

Job Title: Payroll Officer

Location: Remote working (except 1 meeting a month in Tamworth)

Remuneration: £35-£38k

Contract Details: Permanent, full-time position

Responsibilities:

Process end-to-end payroll for employees across the UK and Ireland.
Provide audit support, ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements.
Maintain and improve current payroll processes and procedures.
Manage workflow to ensure accurate and timely processing of all payroll transactions.
Calculate and process court deductions, maternity pay, paternity pay, and other payroll-related items.
Prepare accurate and timely year-end reporting, including P60, P11D, and PSA.
Develop ad hoc financial and operational reporting as needed.
Update and reconcile monthly bank statements using SAP.
Assist colleagues with any payment queries.

Requirements:

Excellent knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors.
Good understanding of Microsoft Office, particularly intermediate Excel skills.
Excellent customer service and communication skills (verbal and written).
Knowledge of pensions, benefits, and tax liabilities.
Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload effectively.
