Data Manager - Data Maturity Assessment - 9 month contract - Hybrid working - SC clearance
I have an immediate opportunity for an experienced Data Manager for a 9-month contract position in London / Bristol / Manchester. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Data Maturity Assessments, particularly within Government departments or public sector bodies.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive Data Maturity Assessments for Government departments and public sector bodies.
- Develop and implement robust data governance frameworks.
- Provide expert advice on data management best practices.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring clear understanding of data initiatives and governance policies.
- Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations and policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data management objectives.
Requirements
- Strong experience in Data Maturity Assessment within Government departments or public sector bodies
- Experience of Data Cataloguing
- Ability to develop Data Assurance frameworks
- Skills in Data Governance Controls and Ownership standards
- Strong skills in Informatica toolset
- Knowledge of DAMA and Data Orchard
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Due to the nature of the role and the timescales involved, candidates with current SC clearance would be preferred.
