Paraplanner - London with Home Working available

We are currently recruiting for a well regarded Financial Planning practice in London who are looking for a Paraplanner to join their team. The ideal candidate will be Level 4 qualified and have good knowledge of Intelligent Office. This role offers flexibility around home working.

To provide support to the Financial Advisers within the firm and to become the main point of contact for the clients.

Key Contributions:

  • Supporting the Financial Planners and Advisers in research and analysis to meet Client needs and objectives.
  • Supporting the Financial Planners and Advisers in preparing Client financial plans and suitability reports.
  • Developing and maintaining internal relationships to help maintain business flow and meet agreed targets
  • Promoting the profile of the business within the profession and wider communities
  • Continuous professional development to meet regulatory requirements and personal development needs
  • Ensuring that any business conducted is done in a responsible and compliant manner, meeting all legislative requirements, both internally and externally.

Key Tasks:

  • Attending client meetings and keeping a record of notes and action points agreed.
  • Producing client Annual Review Reports
  • Dealing with client queries
  • Assisting with product research
  • To prepare accurate financial plans and recommendations in a timely manner showing good attention to detail at all times.
  • Upkeep of company database with full and accurate client records
  • Liaising with product providers and other relevant third parties
  • Individual workflow and task delivery
  • To produce detailed cash flow forecast
  • Generate FE Performance Reports
  • Supporting the delivery of and achievement of the client service standards
  • Working alongside team members to ensure working as efficiently as possible

The successful candidate would ideally have;

  • Strong communication skills that allow you to inform and help clients clearly and to liaise effectively with other professionals
  • Good analytical skills and ability to think outside of the box
  • An ability to work under pressure
  • A commitment to want to continually learn and develop
  • Good attention to detail
