Academics are seeking enthusiastic, inclusive Secondary Teaching Assistants for schools in the Eastleigh area. We are looking for TA's that can carry out various contracts - this includes daily supply, block bookings and short and long term contracts.
The suitable candidates will have experience of supporting children in school and must be able to manage behaviour and motivate students in class.
We are looking for someone who is able to;
- Provide assistance and supervision for children during the school day
- Assist children to understand and participate in class
- Work on a 1:1 basis with students if necessary
- Help to build confidence and motivation
- Adapt to various tasks and needs
- Live locally to / be able to travel into Eastleigh
As you may be required to cover at different schools in and around the Eastleigh area having your own transport is desirable but not essential.
To be considered for the position you must have a valid clear DBS check or be willing to submit one.
