About Us:

Are you a Teacher seeking a new, exciting opportunity? Empowering learning working with a "good" rated Secondary School in Birmingham who are looking for an Art Teacher to start in September on a Full-time basis.

Position: Art Teacher

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a dynamic art curriculum for students of varying ages and skill levels.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and self-expression.
  • Provide instruction in a variety of art techniques, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital media.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Organize and participate in school art exhibitions, competitions, and community art projects.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to integrate art education across the curriculum.
  • Stay current with new teaching methods, materials, and techniques in the field of art education.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Valid teaching certification/license in [State].
  • Previous teaching experience, preferably in a secondary setting.
  • Strong knowledge of various art techniques and mediums.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
