Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a dynamic art curriculum for students of varying ages and skill levels.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and self-expression.
- Provide instruction in a variety of art techniques, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital media.
- Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Organize and participate in school art exhibitions, competitions, and community art projects.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate art education across the curriculum.
- Stay current with new teaching methods, materials, and techniques in the field of art education.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Valid teaching certification/license in [State].
- Previous teaching experience, preferably in a secondary setting.
- Strong knowledge of various art techniques and mediums.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
