The Role: The school is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about teaching and eager to inspire and support students as they transition through a critical stage in their education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons for Year 5 students.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that cater to the individual needs of all students.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love for learning and encourages student participation.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices and resources.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and report as required.
- Promote the well-being and safety of all students in accordance with school policies.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with relevant experience teaching in primary schools.
- A strong understanding of the Year 5 curriculum and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of all learners.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for teaching.
- Experience in using a range of teaching strategies to support diverse learning needs.
- A proactive and flexible approach to working within a team.
- An Enhanced DBS check will be required for the successful candidate.
