Are you an experienced and dedicated educator seeking flexibility in your teaching career?
Explore exciting ad-hoc teaching positions available in Chorley, offering you the chance to contribute your expertise and make a positive impact on students' learning experiences.

We are currently recruiting for ad-hoc supply positions, offering daily cover roles with a competitive pay range of £110-£130 per day. The expectation of daily cover is that work will be provided for you-no planning or preparation is needed. You will be required to deliver the work, maintain the class in line with school expectations, and mark before leaving. This role is ideal for anyone looking to maintain their teaching presence without the full responsibility of planning and preparation. This form of cover typically supports schools dealing with daily absences.

For those interested in longer-term positions, starting pay is £144, with potential earnings of up to £190 per day, depending on the role's salary scale. These temporary contracts are term-time only and are based on school needs, such as maternity cover or staff transitions. These roles require full planning, classroom management, SLT and parent meetings, as well as other wider responsibilities. These longer-term roles are available on an ad-hoc basis as needed by the school.
