Registered Manager
- Location: Cambridge
- Monday to Friday (plus on-call)
- Salary: £42,000
Day to Day of the role:
- Oversee the daily management of the business, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources to deliver high-quality homecare within budget.
- Allocate resources and monitor performance to ensure the safety and quality of care services.
- Lead the staff team, providing clear direction and support to fulfill their roles safely.
- Conduct full assessments of customers' needs and risks, creating tailored care and support plans.
- Maintain secure and confidential records, adhering to legal requirements and company policies.
- Implement and monitor quality management systems, manage complaints, and use feedback to improve services.
- Provide training and development for staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and legal requirements.
- Represent the service positively in external meetings and contribute to the growth and development of the business.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Level 5 Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care
- A strong understanding of CQC regulations
- Compassionate, professional, innovative, supportive, and passionate about delivering joyful homecare.
- Excellent understanding of homecare services, person-centred care, and anti-discriminatory practices.
- Strong communication skills and experience in building positive relationships with service users, families, and professionals.
- Proven ability to plan, organise, and manage workloads effectively.
- Good administrative skills and computer literacy.
- Experience in managing and developing a staff team, including recruitment, training, and supervision.
- Clear written and electronic record-keeping skills.
- Full driver's licence
