Based in York, this is an incredible opportunity for somebody with a telesales/cold-calling background to get onto a career ladder and develop their own Sales abilities.

  • Wage: £25,000 to £30,000+ (Dependant on experience)

Purpose of the role:

To generate new business and revenue opportunities through proactive direct sales activity and secure well qualified appointments for the sales teams.

To identify new customer opportunities.

The role is predominantly a ‘new business' sales role, finding new customer opportunities and lead generation through cold calling and other outbound sales activity.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify new business opportunities and analyse market trends.
  • Generate new business and appointments through pro-active sales activity.
  • Deliver a clear and structured acquisition pipeline with appropriate reporting.
  • Exceed sales targets through customer acquisition, contracts and revenues.
  • Create an effective channel across clients sales channels.
  • Actively leading and driving channel development in target accounts.
  • Increase client spend with Channel Partners by aligning IoT Connectivity with their business strategies.
  • Own and leverage customer & competitor insight to help drive the IoT Connectivity portfolio roadmap.
  • Develop regular contact with new customers developing rapport and further business opportunities.
  • Work with marketing to create and follow up mailshots and other activities.
  • Ensure that all new business is negotiated on the best possible terms with profitability the key factors in obtaining new accounts, while maintaining a competitive edge.
